How White Tee was made?

How White Tee was made?

How do you transform a song and what you feel when listening to it, into a T-shirt?

Our first collaboration is with Judit Luna, a 1996 artist born in el Bruc. She left behind her fears and prejudices and ended up painting the work that illustrates the first white tee of the brand.

She did it through music, and the one that had the most significance when she was painting was SICKOĀ MODE, by Travis Scott.

In this experience, Judit tells us who is sheĀ  when no one is looking at her:

Ā

  • What is fear for you?
  • "Fear is a very powerful tool."

Ā

  • What scares you the most in this life?
  • ā€œForgetting who I am or what I know about myselfā€

Ā

  • What does art mean to you?
  • ā€œArt cannot be defined, it is a false void. Being an artist is expressing yourself with any kind of art."

Ā

  • When you paint, what do you feel?
  • ā€œIt's like connecting and disconnecting at the same time as if I were with my inner child. Nothing else exists, only what I am doing with my hands. When I painted the picture on the T-shirt, what I felt the most was calmness and satisfactionā€ā€

Ā

  • Have you ever used music to paint?
  • ā€œI always like for music to condition my work and depending on the mood I play one song or another. You canā€™t enjoy music without feeling it, just like I canā€™t paint without feeling it.ā€

Ā

  • Who are you when nobodyā€™s watching?
  • ā€œ I am 50% of meā€

Ā

  • And the other 50 half?
  • ā€œIt is yet to be discovered.ā€
